Travelling Light

Art Film, Content, Brand Film

Drawing moves between materials like steel, the body, and voice in the work of artist Hannah Quinlivan. In collaboration with dancers, vocalists, and fellow artists Louise Keast and Shikara Ringdahl, her project Travelling Light explores the idea of adaptation in a time of constant motion, where some move freely while others are forced to stand still, creating new forms of tension and connection.

I was invited to film the live performance at Deakin University and produce an artist profile featuring Hannah reflecting on her process and the evolving relationship between space, movement, and material. The result is a visual portrait that captures both the intellectual rigour and poetic stillness at the heart of Travelling Light.

Still photographs were also produced for the artist website, social media, and published in Hannah's limited edition Monogram by Flinders Lane Gallery.
